Official Virgin Festival Lineup ray ban sale

Official Virgin Festival Lineup
The headliners, as announced presently by Sir Richard Branson, shall be Foo Fighters, ray ban sale, a newly reunited Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, Kanye West and Mr. Festival himself, Jack Johnson.
The Foos will be the least surprising name inside the group, provided that DC101's Elliot Segal "accidentally" confirmed them on the air in late February. Even ahead of then, Producer David created the Foos his very first guess within the original Official VMoFest Predictions post.
I'd named the STP booking within the comments section of that same post. (Also negative I did not do practically as well with my March Madness bracket. Thanks a good deal,Ray Ban, Georgetown.) Scott Weiland hinted that the group might possibly reunite when I interviewed him in advance of final year's festival.
The Nine Inch Nails buzz truly started to heat up after they (he?) announced their (his?) US tour and there was no DC date - and nothing at all on Aug. 9 or 10, either. Last time I saw Nine Inch Nails at a festival, by the way, was 14 years ago at just a little factor called Woodstock '94. NIN's ferocious, mud-covered set was the highlight with the weekend.
Jack Johnson is often a small bit surprising considering that he's one of many headliners at the competing All Points West festival in New Jersey around the exact same weekend as VMoFest. (He's booked for Sunday there, which means he'll be in Baltimore on Saturday. No word however re when the other acts shall be slotted.) Needless to say, Johnson just loves him some festivals. He seems to become following Matisyahu's lead and playing just about each and every huge music gathering in North America this year, from Coachella and Bonnaroo for the Outdoors Lands Festival in San Francisco plus the Kokua Festival in Honolulu.
As for Kanye - can not say I saw that one coming. and Lupe Fiasco. But I consider he'll be a great addition to the lineup. Now let's see if he can convince Daft Punk to join him.
The complete lineup and ticket price data will be out "in the coming weeks," as outlined by a festival rep.
"When the rest from the artists are announced, everyone will see that we've got remained correct to form in our quest to supply practically nothing however the tremendously most desirable bands within the planet in the start off on the day by means of the final notes," VMoFest booker-producer-promoter-golf cart driver Seth Hurwitz says in the press release. "People have come to depend on us for this, and this year's Virgin Mobile Festival will feature the most solid and thrilling lineup ever."
So what do you consider? Are you currently inclined to go? To skip? To wait until the rest of your lineup is announced to make your decision? To view the weather forecast for that weekend? How would you divvy up the headliners for those who were king (which is to say, Seth) to get a day? Do inform.
ETA: Hurwitz is completely aware of the catcalls concerning the headliners getting also mainstream. The truth is, he was reading the comments right here and the threads around the 9:30 club forum whilst I was on the telephone with him Tuesday. In Wednesday's Style section, he says: "This show is for the people today, not the self-congratulatory hipsters. It is for them, too, but not simply for them." Fightin' words!
There wasn't space for this in Wednesday's story, but Hurwitz also says: "It's funny - by obtaining mainstream acts like we invariably do, we've turned a lot of mainstream music fans on to exceptionally cool bands and we've turned some heads with all the so-called hipsters. I cannot inform you how lots of many people who had been complaining about Panic in the Disco [before final year's festival] told me how amazing they believed they have been. I knew i'd take a lot of heat from the ultra-hipsters, but I believe in my taste and my abilities to judge music, so I put them on."
Hurwitz also states the obvious: That the headliners announced Tuesday are just a sliver from the festival's lineup. "I did not want people today simply to see those huge names and believe that is it. I'm nevertheless functioning around the lineup but I needed to reveal the best acts so people would have some thought of what we're carrying out. But it is by no means the whole image. There is much more to come."
As normally, the cool element, whatever which is, will go way up the additional down the lineup you look. But,Ray Ban Clubmaster Sunglasses, naturally, you can't see the full lineup yet. So.
As for the presence of All Points West this year, Hurwitz insists that getting a competing festival on the similar weekend, around the same coast, isn't an issue for VMoFest. "It's not like we lost any bands to them," he says. "They're doing their factor, we're undertaking ours. They have several of the same bands we've, but we surely didn't drop any bands to them." So there will likely be a lot more crossover than just Jack Johnson? "Not too much, but I don't wish to punish bands simply because they are playing up there. I am not going to paint myself into a corner that way."
By the by, one particular act that was heavily rumored to become heading to VMoFest but in the end will not be there: Oasis.
